Is-sinjal għal QALBU(HA) MAQSUMA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti tirreferi għall-qalb. Issir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 magħluqa bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u tersaq tmiss ix-xellug tas-sider. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal KISER. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn u jiltaqgħu qrib xulxin bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn iduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares lejn il-ġenb jew ’il fuq u jiġu qrib xulxin.

The sign for BROKEN HEARTED has two parts. (i) The first part refers to the heart. It is made with one hand in the shape of closed 5 with the palm facing inwards. The hand moves to touch the left side of the chest. (ii) The second part is the sign for BREAK. Both hands take the shape of a fist and meet close to each other with palms facing downwards. The hands then turn over so that the palm faces to the side or upwards and the fists end up close to each other.
